Like many people, I thought preparing a home for sale meant giving it a quick clean, tidy, and hoover before it was photo ready and good enough to show prospective buyers. Until my passion for interior design led me to became fascinated with the power of ‘staging’ a property for the market. 

 

So, when it came to selling my last home, I made sure it was fully staged before putting it onto the market; to give it the best possible chance of selling quickly and for more money. 

Subsequently, after receiving a lot of interest - and several offers, following the open day - it quickly went under offer above asking price. That's when I realised the benefits of preparing a home before marketing it, and the positive impact of home staging! 

 

Having worked within the estate agency field since then, showing many prospective buyers a diverse range of properties; and with experience of being a buyer myself, I understand the fundamental elements that make a property more appealing to buyers…and what puts buyers off. 

 

Now I am focused on helping sellers maximise their chances of success by purposefully presenting their property for the market; so it is fully prepared and ready for those all important photographs - and of course, it’s prospective buyers.
